Keep Your Brain on its Toes With Sudoku

by admin on January 26, 2009

Sudoku is a popular and addictive puzzle game, kind of like a crossword, but with numbers. It features a grid with various squares that are 3 X 3. Each row and column will have 1 of each numbers 1 through 9, no repeats. Within each square you are not allowed to repeat the numbers. Once you complete the entire grid, each square will be filled 1-9, and each row and column will be filled. Sudoku is the perfect game for stimulating the mind by working on challenging puzzles.  The same way exchange hosting helps optimize computer performance, sudoku helps optimize the computer in your head’s performance.

There are some basic tips that will guide you through hundreds of sudoku puzzles. They are simple, yet quite helpful if you wish to seriously engage the puzzles. First of all, never write in pen! You will likely need to erase the numbers you placed, and pen makes it difficult to do so. For this reason, digital versions of Sudoku are more hassle free and enjoyable.

Remain calm! Its easy to get angry at the puzzle board, especially if it is a challenging one. Avoid tossing the puzzle out the window, just breathe, keep going and take things one square grid at a time.

Try to plan your next moves in advance, so that you can minimize errors and complete them faster. Once you get the hang of it, sudoku puzzles can be completed in just a few minutes. The goal is to complete them with little to no errors.

There are countless websites available for sudoku play. My favorite is www.websudoku.com. Its easy to navigate, and you can print off puzzles for playing at a later time.

Sudokupuzz.com is another website that provides users with daily brain challenging puzzles. Sudoku.com, is also another easy to use website that features hours of sudoku gaming. Sudoku sites will most likely offer on-screen assistance as well as a community of sudoku lovers. The Sudoku fanbase isn’t a small one, thousands if not millions of people play sudoku daily.
