Rejuvenating at Home

WISDOM OF YOUTH

If it’s good enough for the goose then it’s good enough for the gander. The old adage can be applied with a healthy dose the older you get. Denial for joy is all well and good, but there is something to be said for treating yourself well.

home spa

Home spas can be purchased just about anywhere, and don’t have to include a hefty price tag or new furniture. Having a masseuse make a home visit is always an option. However for days when you don’t need something so extravagant there is no reason you shouldn’t maintain a healthy glow.

At home spa kits can include aroma therapy, facials, pedicures and a host of other simple do-it-yourself tools. The joy of soft supple skin, pampered to perfection. A rise in the cheeks and your reflection tell no lies.

ZEN AND THE ART OF LONG LIFE
Your home spa is peace at it’s most obvious. Learning to allow your self that kind of indulgence is another matter. We all too often make sacrifices; don’t feel guilty for taking care of yourself. Aging means not having to explain to people why you are doing something. Experiencing these simple pleasures is in natural balance with life. We see example of indulgences all around us; it’s the very thing we all strive for, really, what we worked hard for.
Retirement years means different things to many. Quality of life is enhanced through action, so remember your old adages as guideline. Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise.
